  1. 1. Installation:
  2.   The installer-script was removed in this release. But the
  3.   installation is very simple:
  4.  
  5.   a)  If you have installed a previous version of Wildfire:
  6.        *delete the whole Wildfire-drawer except your personal
  7.         data like images, animations, ...
  8.        *goto case b)
  9.        *move your data back into the generated Wildfire-drawer
  10.  
  11.   b)  You have no version of the program installed:
  12.        *extract the archieve
  13.        *move the config-file from the "envarc"-drawer into "envarc:"
  14.        *move the libraries from the "libs"-drawer into "libs:"
  15.         if you don't have them
  16.        *delete the "libs" and the "envarc"-drawer
  17.        *add a line like
  18.          "assign wf: work:grafix/Wildfire defer"
  19.         to your user-startup
  20.  
  21. 2. The supplied config-file is the one I use. If the program wont
  22.    start the reason my be a missing font or Screenmode.
  23.    Normally the program switches back to "PAL" and the
  24.    "topaz"-font in such case . If this wont work because of any
  25.    reason change the following lines of the config-file:

  27.     prDefScreenMode=233508
  28.     prDefFont=XHelvetica.font
  29.     prDefFontSize=11
  30.  
  31. 3. The Processor-documentation in the "Wildfire.guide"-file
  32.    which was rearranged and rewritten is very incomplete yet.
  33.    Use the file "Processor.guide" instead. All other parts
  34.    of the documentation are finished.
  35.    In the next release there will be only the one guide-file
  36.    "Wildfire.guide".
  37.    This file is used by the online-help, too.
  38.  
  39. 4. Bug-reports and *real* suggestions are welcome at
  40.     epgbc@cluster1.urz.Uni-Halle.DE .

  42.    What's a "real suggestion" ?
  43.     "Could you add a MagicWB-color-preset to the Prefs-editor ?"
  44.    surely *not* .

  46. 5. This version seems to work very stable on all configurations
  47.    now, have a look at the FAQ if you get any problems.
  48.  
  49. 6. All new features are reported to the history-file.
